All Sewn Up: Madalynne 8228 Blush Pink + Yellow Kit

All Sewn Up: Madalynne 8228 Blush Pink + Yellow Kit

how to sew lingerieI’ve shown you images of the fabric and notions in the Madalynne lingerie kits, but what does (or should) the final product look like? Let me show you!

Here is the Madalynne X Simplicity 8228 all sewn up using the blush pink and yellow kit. I’m the type of person who becomes obsessed with things. Although I love the new lavender and apricot kits, I just can’t get over this color combo and may have whipped up a set for every day of the week. Guilty as charged!

Each kit comes with stretch lace, novelty mesh and a lace trimming and the version you see here is from last month’s release. This month, I’ve changed up the lace, novelty mesh and trimming, but the quality is the same. So is the color.

Don’t forget that if you purchase a kit through this weekend (ends Sunday, May 14), you’ll receive $100 off a Passport 2.0 machine (read my review of the machine here). When you place an order, you’ll receive a coupon code via email, which you can print out and bring to an authorized PFAFF retailer. The coupon will be good through 6/10/2017. Coupon and proof of purchase must be presented in-store, but there is no prior purchase required. Sorry folks, but limit to one coupon per person and cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.

One last bit! Did you know there is a video tutorial, which you can watch here , for the panty? You can certainly follow the directions in the pattern to make the undie, but in the video, I show how to add the lace trimming at the top of the waist.

The kits are going fast, but they’re gone! Hop on over to the webshop to purchase now.

Hi there! I just purchased a kit for 8228. But now that I look at my 8228 pattern, it doesn’t match the picture on this blog post (it’s has racerback or halter, not straps). Just want to confirm the kit is actually for the 8228!
