VIDEO TUTORIAL: How To Finish Top Edge of Foam Bra Cup
It’s the little details in handmade items that make all the difference. Those minute and often unnoticed extra steps that are skipped in mass manufacturing to same on time and cost. When it comes to lingerie, particularly bras with foam cups, one of those procedures is finishing the top edge of the cup. Polylaminate, or cut and sew foam, doesn’t fray so this step isn’t necessary, but adds a nice, delicate touch. In the video, I use a sheer cup lining for the binding, but you could use a silk charmeuse. Oh, that would be nice!
