My Current Lingerie Inspiration
I just wrapped up production for Madalynne Intimates, and I’m already planning for the next round. Winter, spring and summer 2018 are on my mind. Swim suits might even be in the works. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone.
Much of this blog is focused on the sewing aspect of my biz, but I do plan on expanding the RTW side. I’ll never give up sewing, and I’ll never give up designing RTW. For me, they’ll go hand in hand. My overarching vision is to provide women with lingerie, whether than be by sewing their own or buying from the market.
This summer, I am drunk on color, craving pops of neon yellow and burnt orange mixed with ballerina pinks. I’ve still got a thing for blush and orange, but as I design for the upcoming winter seasons, I’m drawn to charcoal grey and silver. I also got my eye on stars, moons and all things celestial. I see myself incorporating it into styles via embroidery.
My mind is still churning with ideas – it always is – but here’s a mood board of its current state. Thought I’d share. I’d love to see what your pulling for inspiration these days.
