Happy Independence Day! What July 4th Means to Madalynne

Here in the states, we’re celebrating our Independence Day. Red, white and blue all the way! One of my favorite holidays, July 4th means many things to me and the brand I’m trying to build. First and foremost, it’s a celebration of our country and the fight we fought over 200 years ago. Freedom – it’s something I don’t think about much, but it is truly hard to imagine a time and place where I didn’t have the opportunity to pursue my dreams and goals. I have lots of them.

As I gear up to release new RTW intimates in a few weeks (available for preorder now), I’m thinking a lot about ‘Made in the USA’ and what it means / how important it is to this brand. I’m not a USA made zealot, but having those three words printed on every label is a celebration of our countries desire to continue to make products and still thrive in today’s global economy. By buying USA products, we’re also deciding the future of our country. We’re making it better by adding jobs and putting money back into our economy. Most importantly, we’re supporting the passions of our people, like me.
