Learning How To Make a Bra in One Day: Bra Making with Madalynne Recap

Learning How To Make a Bra in One Day: Bra Making with Madalynne Recap

how to make a braCan  you believe it? Bra Making with Madalynne turned 30 last Saturday. That lil’ ole workshop on how to make a bra that I first hosted in February 2015 entered a new decade. Sheesh! Time flies when you’re sewing your own lingerie?

There was a wide ranging group at this class. Anne hailed from Oregon House, California. A year into retirement, she wants to open her own sewing studio. So she came to scope out my teaching, even coming a day before to see how I set up, which I was more than happy to share with her. Misty traveled from Washington D.C., and Julia and Mandy from Asbury Park, New Jersey. Julia and I met over IG when she gave me recommendations on places to go in Asbury. Ryan and I were interested in spending a Saturday or Sunday at the beach, and she kindly gave us recommendations when I posted. Then there was Lauren of Trousseau Style, an uber talented personal stylist, and Sasha – both local Philly gals. Coming from around the country, they all had one thing in common by the end of the day… a me made bra!

So thank you to everyone who made my 29th workshop a smash hit. Each one leaves me feeling pumped for the next. I’m excited for the remainder of summer classes, because that means more tacos haha
