This black + white swimsuit does everything — the luxe fabric has anti-wicking technology, built-in SPF, and all the support you need whether you’re poolside or beach bound. And honestly… nothing is more chic, crisp, and timeless than a black and white bikini or one-piece.

This DIY swimwear kit is photographed with the Fiona Underwire Bra for the bikini top and Noelle Panty for the bikini bottom. The one piece is the Godiva Bodysuit from Madalynne’s Book, Sew Lingerie. DIY Kit can be used for other swimsuit patterns depending on what is needed. See below for a full list of fabrics + trims included in each DIY sewing kit.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE KIT

Off white lycra (main fabric)
Black lycra (combo fabric)
Stretch mesh (lining fabric – stretch)
Sheer cup lining (lining fabric – non stretch)
Black fold over elastic, ⅜” and ¾” wide
Black band elastic, 1″ wide
underwire channeling
Black shoulder strap elastic, size varies
*If you would like gold strap connector for extra support, choose 1″ strap elastic. If you choose ½” or ¾” strap elastic, connector will not be included. 
Hook and eye, 4×3 hook and eye
*Sizes 28A-C, 30A-B, and 32A take a 3×3 hook + eye. If you would like a 3×3 hook and eye instead of 4×3, please put a note when checking out. 

*Fabric and trim quantities are enough to make 1 swimsuit for all sizes.*
*Elastics included in the DIY kit are swim-suitable, but some components—like the hook-and-eye and sheer cup lining—are traditionally used for bra making. Depending on the style and support you want in your swimsuit, these elements may or may not be ideal.*
*Patterns are NOT included in DIY kit and must be purchased separately*
