Description

The Fenix a formfitting bodysuit that features a 3-part bra cup – a lower cup with a vertical seam that provides shaping and volume for all cup sizes – and a triangle upper cup. The bralette is finished with fold over elastic binding along the neckline, the underarm, and the top back band. A wide elastic band at the bottom gives additional support. Bralette also has adjustable shoulder straps and a hook and eye at the center back. Panty has diagonal seams and a small cut out on the front, and a large cut out on the back. Bodysuit can be made with or without a snap closure at the gussett. The Fenix bodysuit is available in sizes XS-4XL and cup sizes A/B, C/D and E/F for each alpha size.

Supplies

0.75YDS Main Fabric: Fabric for lower bralette cups, back band, center front panty panel, and gusset. Pattern was designed to be made with fabrics that have 8-20% spandex. Recommended fabrics are stretch all over lace, lycra or stretch mesh.

0.75YDS Combo Fabric: Fabric for upper bralette cups, side front panty panel, and back panty panel.Pattern was designed to be made with fabrics that have 8-20% spandex. Recommended fabrics are stretch all over lace, lycra or stretch mesh. 

0.75YDS Lining Fabric: Fabric for lining all pieces except back panty panel. Pattern was designed to be lined with fabrics that have 8-20% spandex. Recommended lining is stretch mesh. For sizes XL-4XL and cup sizes C/D and E/F, recommended to use power net for lower and upper bralette cups and back band.

1YDS Picot Panty Elastic, ¼” wide: Elastic for cut out on front and back panty panels.

4YDS Fold Over Elastic, ⅜” wide: Elastic for finishing front neckline, armhole, top back band and leg opening

0.75YDS Shoulder Strap Elastic, size varies: Elastic for shoulder straps. Recommended width  for XS-L and A/B and C/D cups is 1/2”. Recommended width for XL-4XL and E/F cup is 3/4”

1YDS Elastic Band, size varies: Elastic for underbust. Width will depend on the size and the desired amount of support. Recommended width is 1 1/2”.

1 Paid Hook + Eye, 3×3 wide: Closure that will be sewn at the center back.

1 Paid Ring + Sliders, size varies: Hardware sewn to the shoulder strap elastic. Width of rings + sliders should be the same width as shoulder strap elastic.

Cotton Jersey + Snap Closure: Fabric + trim for gusset

Additional required supplies: Sewing machine with straight and zig zag stitch, polyester thread, microtex or stretch needle (size depends on fabric). Additional optional supplies: 28mm rotary cutter, Odif’s 505 spray adhesive, zipper presser foot (for snap closure only)
