One of the most frustrating parts of sewing a new bra pattern is the muslin process, also called a toile. You don’t want to cut into your nice fabrics + trims, but you also don’t have *cheap* supplies. Having good quality materials for the muslin is important to achieving an accurate fit. This muslin kit contains good quality supplies (from Madalynne’s stash!) to make a muslin for the Rey underwire bra. It is also sustainable swing and ways to reuse our beloved fabrics. Depending on the supplies needed, this muslin kit could be used for other underwire bra patterns.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

1.5 yards lace (for bra cups)
1/4 yard stabilized satin (for frame)
1/4 yard power net (for back band)
1.5 yards fold over and picot elastic, ⅜” and/or 3/4″ wide
1.5 yards underwire channeling, 3/8″ wide
1.5 yards strap elastic, 3/4″ wide
1 yard band elastic, 1 5/8″ wide
hook + eye
