From selecting the perfect fabric to mastering the art of inserting underwires, this guide has everything you need to craft a bra that’s both beautiful and supportive. Perfect for sewists of all levels, this project will leave you with a one-of-a-kind piece you’ll love to wear! Students will also sew the Rey Underwire Bra from Madalynne’s book, Sew Lingerie, and receive two 1-on-1 fitting sessions of both their muslin and finished piece.

Session 1:
1. Types of underwires
2. How to find the right underwire
3. Determining your size
4. Adjusting pattern to fit your underwire shape and size
5. Making a muslin, fitting band or test cup
*directions on how to schedule your first 1-on-1 fitting – there is no expiration date on when you can schedule your fitting

Session 2:
1. Fitting the Rey underwire bra
2. Pattern adjustments to the band, frame, cups, and straps
3. Personalized session with Madalynne to fit your Rey toiles

Session 3:
1. Sewing the Rey underwire bra from start to finish

Session 4:
1. Personalized session with Madalynne to fit your finished Rey underwire bras + quick fitting tips.
