It seems like forever, but it was only 4 years when I moved from my very college-esque apartment in West Philly to a slightly smaller than 500 square foot condominium in Old City. I was just 26 and gulped at the thought of putting a down payment and having a mortgage. However, I was excited to have something that was my own and to be able to decorate it exactly how I wanted. When I moved in, it was the definition of a cookie cutter space. You can see the before photos here and here. It took a good year and a lot of time on Pinterest to transform it into something that was uniquely me.
