Madalynne Intimates Featured on Best of Philly 2018

Every year, Philadelphia Magazine names the very best things to do, places to go, restaurants to eat at and more in their ‘Best of’ issue.  The best pickles, best not boring hostess gifts, best clothes for a future influencer – the editors scour the city and feature the unique, the weird, and all the other wonderful Philadelphian people, places and things. It’s a big deal around here – trusted as much as a Yelp review. I’ve admired local business’ who have made the list, and even attended the big soiree at Dilworth Park last year. This week, just two weeks before I head to San Francisco to teach a satellite Bra Making with Madalynne workshop, I got the news – Madalynne made it to their Best of Philly 2018 list! Woot woot! I got the magazine this weekend and even the sticker. It’s official – Madalynne has the best Lingerie Workshop in the city. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I think it’s the best lingerie workshop in the country!

So thank you to Philadelphia Magazine. I’m am beyond ecstatic, proud, honored… I’m all the feels. Eight years ago, I dropped out of college and moved to Philly to work for URBN. Two years ago, I left a secure corporate job that I loved to pursue my lingerie dreams. There was no promise it would work out. I still don’t know what the future has in store. This was a total surprise and proof that hard work does pay off, but takes time. Years in fact. Madalynne is just a baby – we’ve come a long way and accomplished a lot, but have a long way to go and A LOT more to accomplish.
