Anatomy of a Lingerie Kit

You purchased a Madalynne lingerie kit and now you’re all confused about what goes where? I didn’t realize this until someone emailed asking where and how they use the fabric and trims. My kits contain additional / different fabrics and notions than written on the back of each pattern, so I made 4 diagrams to outline it for you. I hope it helps! 8436 Partial Band Underwire Lingerie Kit
1. Stretch galloon lace: for bra cups, center front gore, back band as well as back panels of panty
2. Stretch mesh: for lining bra cups, center front gore, back band as well as front and/or back of panty (optional)
3. Lycra: for front of panty
4. Cotton Jersey: for crotch lining on panty
5. Strap elastic: for bra straps
6. Plush channeling: to finish bra cups and encase underwires
7. Picot plush elastic: to finish bra at underarm/top back band and bottom back band as well as waistline of panty
8. Rings and sliders (sliders not shown): to attach bra straps
9. Hook & eye: closure for center back of bra

8228 Bralette Lingerie Kit
1. Stretch galloon lace: for bra cups, upper and lower bands, racer back as well as side panels of panty
2. Novelty mesh: for center front and back panels of panty
3. Stretch mesh: for lining all pieces of bralette and panty
4. Cotton Jersey: for crotch lining on panty
5. Picot plush elastic: to finish band seam on bra and waist and leg opening on panty
6. Plush channeling: to finish cup seams on halter bralette
7. Hook & eye: closure for center back of halter bralette (racer back bralette does not have closure)
8. Lace trimming: optional to finish top of panty, video tutorial can be found here

Noelle Bralette + Undie Lingerie Kit
1. Stretch lace: for all pieces of bralette and panty
2. Stretch mesh: for lining all pieces of bralette and panty
3. Cotton Jersey: for crotch lining on panty
4. Narrower picot plush elastic: for finishing armholes, neckline of bralette and leg opening of panty
5. Wider picot plush elastic: to finish band seam on bra and waist and leg opening on panty
6. Strap elastic: for straps
7. Sliders: for strap elastic
8. Ring: to loop racer back through
