Erin of Sewbon Shares Her New Favorite Bralette For Summer
I know this feeling: as soon as warm weather hits, I take every opportunity to show off my arms, shoulders and back. Halter, off-the-shoulder, plunging neck and armhole tops – I didn’t do my push ups all winter for no reason. Time to show off those guns! This means that everyday is an occasion to put my lingerie on display. Visible intimates are my middle names.
Like many women, Erin of Sewbon typically likes to hide her bra straps. This summer, I encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone and make a Barrett bralette using the White Swiss Dot kit. She did and she rocked it! It’s just too good not to share. So, below are a few snippets from her blog post. You can click here to hop on over to her site and read the full review!
“I used the Barrett Bralette Swiss Dot Sewing Kit and it’s quite possibly the most beautiful kit I’ve ever seen. I mean, come on… floral and swiss dot?! All the heart eyes!”
“I LOVE my new Barrett Bralette! I think it’s so pretty and I love that I can show it off with a muscle tank.”
“Overall, I think this pattern is perfect for a beginner bra maker. The instructions are easy to follow and give lots of good information about sewing elastic and stretchy fabrics. Plus, it’s F-R-E-E and beautiful!”
