Let the holiday festivities begin. We’re 6 days into December… bring on the wine and cheese, mistletoe, eggnog and… bodysuits? Huh? Made with camel colored lace and lined in a soft off white jersey, the Maeve and the Serena bodysuits are a figure-sculpting piece that are meant to be layered underneath a skirt or pair of joggers or trousers. Because it’s a full bottom (versus a thong), I don’t recommend wearing with tight pants, unless you’re okay with VPLs (visible panty lines). I envision both as outerwear but if dressing up while lounging at home is your thing, by all means pull a Blanche DuBois. However, if you have a holiday shin dig coming up, pair the Maeve or the Serena with a statement-making skirt like this, and voilà, you’ll be the queen of the party.
