Learn how to make a corset! A corset – a true corset and not a Forever 21 version of a corset – is truly a work of art. It requires less than a yard of fabric, some steel boning and laces, but it can reshape the body in incredible ways. In Madalynne’s Corset Making 3-day retreat, learn the ins and outs of all things corsets. This retreat is also a chance to enjoy three days of creating with like-minded sewists, make new friends and learn something new at the one of a kind experience.
There will be no more corset retreats for 2024. If you are interested in learning corsetry, please email hello@madalynne.com for a 1-on-1 option.
“I loved everything about Madalynne’s corset retreat—from the new sewing techniques to the corset history lessons to the snacks—everything was just perfect. But my favorite part of all was seeing everyone’s face completely light up when they tried on their finished corset.”
“What an amazing 3 days with @mmadalynne! I’m so glad I got to attend her corset retreat this weekend – I have 10 years of experience in historical dressmaking, but I’ve always avoided making corsets because I was so intimidated by them – so I always preferred to “leave them to the experts”. Maddie is such a gifted teacher and really demystified the corset making process for me.”
