I had SO much fun sewing up my halter bralette & panty set using the 8228 Madalynne sewing pattern! I have been sewing for 10+ years, but never took the plunge into sewing lingerie–I was terrified! But Madalynne’s sewing pattern & DIY lingerie kit (I purchased one of her very first kits, the blush & yellow one) made it so incredibly easy and fun, taking all the scariness out of sewing lingerie for the first time. I can’t wait to sew up the racerback bralette when she restocks her DIY sewing kits for this pattern! I will never ever buy store bought lingerie again.

The 8228 pattern is easy to understand and so quick to make. I had been wanting to make lingerie for a while but had been too nervous. I am so glad I started with this pattern and one of her kits. It was the perfect introduction. I have made both bralettes, and I love them. I look forward to trying out the other patterns.
