Description

One of the most frustrating parts of sewing a new pattern is the fitting process. You don’t want to cut into your nice fabrics + trims, but you also don’t have *cheap* supplies. Having good quality materials for the muslin is important to achieving an accurate fit. This muslin kit contains good quality supplies (from Madalynne’s stash!) to make a muslin for the Monet Merry Widow. It is also sustainable and a way to reuse our beloved fabrics. Depending on the supplies needed, this muslin kit could be used for other corset or lingerie patterns.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

3/4 yards light pink stabilized tricot
3/4 yards light pink power net
3/4 yards light pink all over lace
3 yards fold over elastic, 3/4″
3 yards underwire channeling, 3/8″ wide
1.5 yard shoulder strap elastic, 3/4″ wide
Hook and eye tape

*Pattern and underwire are NOT included in DIY kit and must be purchased separately*
*Fabric and trim quantities are enough to make 1 toile for all sizes.*
*DIY kit does not contain all supplies for the Monet (closure, rings + sliders). It only includes the necessary fabric + trims needed to make a toile.*
*Fabrics + trims will vary from what is shown in photos depending on what is in our stash bin*
