Description

Scarlett dress sewing pattern is a fun, whimsical, and elegant maxi dress that has six godets for the ultimate flared hem. The bodice features an empire seam underneath the bust, and bust darts to create minimal shaping. The neckline and armhole edges are finished with fold over elastic. There is no closure.

FORMAT:

Available in A4, A0, projector and letter. PDF pattern features selectable layers that gives the option of choosing which size(s) to print. 

SUPPLIES:

Main Fabric: 2 yards lycra, stretch velvet, stretch all over lace, knit, jersey. Main fabric should have between 8-20% spandex..

Combo Fabric: 6.5 yards voile, crepe, china silk, or very lightweight fabric. Combo fabric can be stretch or non stretch, but it must be very lightweight with a lot of drape in order for the godets to hang nicely.

Fold over elastic: 2-3 yards, ⅜”-¾” wide

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES:

Required: Sewing machine with straight and zigzag stitch, polyester thread, microtex or stretch needle (size depends on fabric).

Optional: 28mm rotary cutter, Odif’s 505 spray adhesive
