Styling a Lace Bodysuit with The Fashionably Broke Teacher
It was shortly after I had left the corporate world and was working as a personal stylist at Anthropologie Rittenhouse as I transitioned into full time entrepreneur when I first met Lindsey of the blog, The Fashionably Broke Teacher. The other personal stylist and I were looking to grow the PS program and researching local bloggers to help us spread the word. We reached out to a handful, and Lindsey was the first to respond. She too was in somewhat of a new stage of her life, having recently moved from the south. She must have brought her southern charm with her to Philly, because y’all, she was the kindest and warmest person. We’ve kept in touch, and with every new Madalynne Intimates release, she has been so supportive. And she always looks so damn good in her Madalynne bralettes, undies and now bodysuit!
Today she’s rocking one of my newest pieces, the Maeve off the shoulder lace bodysuit. You guys, I didn’t think the Maeve could be worn underneath a romper/jumper, but she showed me that I was wrong. ALL WRONG! Lindsey confessed in her post that growing up, her favorite item to wear was a bodysuit. Maybe it was the easiness of a one piece or the way it hugged her body, but she loved and still loves them. With the 90s back in style, her love has grown even stronger. On a particularly warm fall day this past weekend, she paired the Maeve off the shoulder lace bodysuit with this faux leather dress. She also thinks that this lace bodysuit would go well with a dress or a skirt. High waisted “mom jeans” over them along with a casual trench coat for a cool weekend look too! “The The Maeve has seriously the prettiest details and I fell in love with the sleeves. I also adore the Serena Long Sleeve Lace Bodysuit, and it is the next on my list to get!” Aw! Thanks Lindsey ; )
