First Bra Making Workshop of the Decade
The first Bra Making with Madalynne workshop of the decade was last weekend and boy, from the looks of it, it’s going to be a kick a** ten years. Just like the opening party the weekend prior, the weather was not in my favor. Two Saturday’s in a row Philadelphia was hit my rain and lots of it! That didn’t stop Jhasmine, who came all the way from Mississippi, and sisters Julia and Leah, who came from New Jersey, to come to the bra making class and sew Madalynne’s newest style, the Eloise bralette, using a brand new DIY lingerie. BTW- Julia is the owner of a super cool sew shop in Brielle called Old Spool Sewing Studio – you can check it out here.
Midway through the day, we stopped to enjoy a delish lunch served on glassware, dinnerware and serve ware from Lenox. After our bellies were full with roast beef sandwiches from Primal Supply Meats, a grapefruit and avocado salad, pita chips, berry chiffon cake and a grapefruit mocktail and champagne, we got back to sewing and ended the day with 7 beautiful me-made bralettes.
As always, thank you to the incredible sponsors and partners who made each bra making class spectacular!

This is an amazing concept! I am just so amazed that the thoughtfulness put into it. I would love to do this with my older daughters. You have sent me on the hunt to see if there is something similar to this idea in Atlanta.
