First Annual Threadsgiving I Bra Making with Madalynne November Recap

bras for women by madalynne intimates Halloween is over – these past few weeks and next, I and I’m sure you are eagerly awaiting the upcoming long weekend when we get to put on our OOO email, gram up our turkey dinner on IG, enjoy long, tryptophan-induced naps, watch football like we know what the he** is going on, and have a momentary sense of calm before the storm that is called Black Friday, Small Biz Saturday and Cyber Monday. There’s no reason why we can’t replicate that momentary bliss that is that is Thanksgiving a few days early. That was my thinking this past Saturday at the first annual Threadsgiving. What’s Threadsgiving you ask? It was my take on my most loved holiday where I 5 women and I got to share our love of sewing. Claire from Pittsburgh, Jen from Virginia, Erin from New Jersey, Nicole from Austin and Oluchi from New York gathered around the table and sewed the Madalynne X Simplicity 8624 high neck, partial band underwire bra (say that 3 times fast!). It is the most difficult Madalynne pattern and all the ladies rocked it. I had to skidaddle as soon as the workshop ended, so I didn’t get a class photo, but Erin, who is a sewing blogger, shared her finished piece, how she is wearing it, and her experience of the class here.
