I’m not a religious person, but I am spiritual. At the young age of 18, my mom lost a 6 year battle with breast cancer. I write about her disease on my ‘About Me‘ page, but to keep it brief for today’s post, her fight was long and not easy. She had several stints at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, a collapsed spine, wigs, wheelchairs – what I experienced at a young age truly shaped who I am today.

This fall, I’m excited to be partnering with breastcancer.org, a 17 year old non profit that is an online educational resource for women and men who are seeking critical information on breast cancer and breast health. Madalynne will donate 5% of sales from all the workshops through the end of the year to the organization. These resources are critical for people who are suffering and I feel it necessary for me to do this.
