Make your own corset with Madalynne’s corset kit! Receive all fabric + supplies for Annabelle waspie or underbust corset. Annabelle is a simple, single layer mesh underbust corset and waspie. It is a great pattern for all levels sewists to learn fundamental corset skills and techniques without worrying about fitting the bust. The pattern is drafted to give minimum waist reduction (1-2″) so that it could be worn as a foundation garment as well as outerwear. Additional features include:

• 12 panels (6 on each side)
• Optional waist stay
• 2″ lacing gap at back
• Binding at top and bottom edges

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN CORSET KIT

1/2 yard black corset mesh (main fabric #1)
1/2 yard beige stretch mesh (main fabric #2)
1/8 yard black coutil (main fabric for center back and center back facing)
2 yards non stretch embroidered tulle lace
2 yards nylon plastic boning
2 yards powder blue ribbon, 1/4″ wide (for lacing up back and decorative ribbon at waist)
3 yards bra channeling (for boning channels)

*DIY kit is a variation of the Annabelle – click here for full tutorial on the modifications*
*DIY kit includes everything needed to make the Annabelle except for the eyelets/grommets. Eyelets/grommets are specific to the type/brand of pliers or press you use. If you are new to corset making or don’t have a press or pliers, I recommend using Prym’s Vario Pliers and 4mm eyelets.  No other tools are needed except for sewing machine with a straight stitch, matching thread, and scissors or snips.
