Recap: Bodysuit Workshop
I hate moving. Let me repeat… I HATE MOVING! In late August, I did what I disliked most, but it was a welcome and a needed change. The first Madalynne Studios was a great place for a burgeoning business like mine. Four years ago, I was just starting out while working a corporate gig. Many memories were made and it provided a space for my biz to grow into what it is today. However, the new Madalynne Studios is bigger and brighter and will help take my lingerie to the next level.
Last Saturday, I hosted my first workshop in the new space. I’ve hosted many workshops, 21 to be exact, but I was a little nervous how this one would go down. No need to worry, Maddie. It was a hit! I’ve had students travel from crazy far places, but this one was mostly local – Philly, Jersey and New York folks. For this class, I partnered with The Confident Stitch to sew the Madalynne X Simplicity 8435 using a kit that came from their shop. Pun intended, I’m in love with this fabric – it held up to the elastic well and the hearts transition to a polka dot is cool. I love polka dots in any size, shape or configuration. The contrast placket is a nice touch too.
Thank you to everyone who made my 21st workshop a total success. I’m finally legal! The November class in a few weeks is sold out, but there are openings for December – click here to sign up now!
